What Is Neuropsychological Testing?

Neuropsychological testing is a comprehensive evaluation of brain-behavior relationships. Through a battery of standardized tests and clinical interviews, a neuropsychologist assesses a wide range of cognitive functions — including attention, memory, processing speed, executive functioning, language, and visuospatial skills — to understand how the brain is working.

These evaluations are used to diagnose conditions such as ADHD, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and other neurological or psychiatric conditions. Results provide a detailed profile of an individual's strengths and challenges, and recommendations are tailored to support academic, occupational, and daily functioning.

Who Can Benefit?

Children & Adolescents

Evaluations for learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and academic difficulties.

Adults

Assessment of cognitive changes, memory concerns, ADHD, mood disorders, and occupational functioning.

Older Adults

Evaluation of memory loss, dementia, and age-related cognitive decline.

Post-Injury & Medical Conditions

Assessment following traumatic brain injury, stroke, or other neurological events.

Philosophy of Care

As a neuropsychologist, I am deeply committed to integrating clinical expertise, research, and compassionate care to enhance cognitive and functional outcomes for individuals navigating neurological challenges. Neuropsychological evaluation is more than identifying cognitive deficits — it is a gateway to personalized, strengths-based rehabilitation. My belief is that progress is possible, even in the face of significant challenges, and I strive to offer hope, foster adaptation, and help individuals find a path forward.

Understanding how your mind works is the first step toward unlocking your full potential. A thorough evaluation provides clarity, direction, and hope.
